Fort Nelson
From Dawson Creek to Fort Nelson, I drove 283.6 miles. We stayed here 1 night. The drive was good. We still have smokey skies and fog. The smoke was so strong you could smell it in the van. I was going to grab my face mask at my gas stop but by then the smoke greatly cleared.
Lots of signs for big wildlife but I was not lucky to see any.
Attached to the campground was Fort Nelson Heritage Museum. The theme of this museum was “transportation” but it was full of all types of items from the past.
Next stop Liard Hot Springs
