Whitehorse, Yukon. Take Two

Today we returned to Whitehorse, Yukon.  This is our second visit to this town.   We stopped here earlier in the trip on our way north to Dawson City.

We are now starting to work our way to our final ending point in Prince George, Canada.

Today I drove 261.2 miles.  I left Haines at 7:15 am and it was 54 degrees.  When I arrived in Whitehorse it was 77 degrees.

We again crossed the border into Canada and set our clocks again one hour.  We are back to being 3 hours behind east coast time.

Once I arrived in Whitehorse I stopped at Walmart and visited the local Glass Blowing shop where I watched some glass blowing and purchased some beautiful hand-made glass blown glasses.

Afte the glass shop I stopped at a laundromat for laundry time and then off to the campground.

This campground had a food truck on site which served up some German type food along with pizza.  They also had woman playing the piano and singing.  She plays in the piano bar on Royal Caribbean cruise ships.  She was pretty good.

Next, we stop in Nugget City, Yukon.
